This EP commemorates the years as Daisy Pusher, from the first release "Radiant Black" in 2011 to the burial of the moniker in 2018. It features previously unreleased songs and song ideas that were never finished and ended up being dropped from their respective releases. They are presented here in their raw form and are among the darkest material ever recorded by Daisy Pusher. That being said, the songs also have a lot of playfulness and gives a peek into a process of great transformation. You cannot have light without dark and sometimes it is necessary to explore even the deepest and darkest corners to clear the way for radiance.
Track 2, 4 & 5 are outtakes from "The God Particle Accelerator" sessions and were recorded in 2014.
Track 1 & 3 are outtakes from the "Journey Within" sessions and were recorded in 2015.
There are no outtakes from the "Radiant Black" sessions since the only unreleased song from those sessions were later finished and released as "Symphony No. 1 in B Minor, Op. 2".
Note that the song "Like a Lie (In the Sky)" includes the riff to "While Wailing (Only a Part)" from the album "Journey Within". This is actually the first ever appearance of that riff, it came out of this recording. Although, an embryo of it can actually be heard in "The New Church" as well.
